Dmitry Milyaev, governor of Tula, stated via Telegram that two people died and two others were hospitalized following an attack before midnight on the Tula area, located north of Moscow.

Gleb Nikitin, governor of Nizhny Novgorod in western Russia, also reported via Telegram that one person was killed and two others hospitalized after a Ukrainian strike targeted an industrial area.

Russian air defense units destroyed 59 Ukrainian drones overnight, including 12 over the Tula region and 2 above Moscow.

Reuters could not independently verify these reports. No immediate comment was issued by Ukraine. Both sides deny targeting civilians, although thousands have been killed in the war initiated by Russia in February 2022.
