The State of Palestine has submitted an urgent request to convene an extraordinary session of the Arab League Council at the level of Permanent Representatives as soon as possible. The meeting aims to discuss confronting Israeli crimes and violations in the occupied city of Jerusalem and its Islamic and Christian sanctities, as well as the "Occupation Knesset’s" approval of a racist law regarding the execution of Palestinian prisoners.

The Permanent Representative of the State of Palestine to the Arab League, Ambassador Mohannad Al-Aklouk, announced that the request comes in light of the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people. He specifically highlighted the systematic violations in Jerusalem and the restrictions imposed on the freedom of worship at its holy sites, including the continued closure of the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque for over 30 days and the prevention of access to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre for religious rites.
Ambassador Al-Aklouk emphasized that the passage of this racist law by the "Occupation Knesset" represents a new chapter in the series of Israeli crimes and violations against Palestinian rights and international law. He called upon Arab nations to meet and discuss ways to counter this brutal aggression in all its forms and manifestations.
