A young man was martyred and several other Palestinians were injured on Wednesday by Israeli occupation forces' shelling and gunfire in various parts of the Gaza Strip. These incidents coincided with airstrikes and the demolition of residential buildings.

Medical sources reported the death of Akram Hassan Al-Arjani (27) following shelling that targeted the "Ard Al-Laymoun" area south of Khan Younis; his body was transported to Nasser Medical Hospital.
Other reported casualties include:
A Palestinian injured by a "Quadcopter" drone near Abu Hussein School in the northern Gaza Strip.
A young girl wounded by gunfire in the Qizan Abu Rashwan area, south of Khan Younis.
Escalation and Demolitions
Israeli warplanes launched airstrikes east of Gaza City and east of the "Yellow Line" in Khan Younis, amid intensive low-altitude flights. Simultaneously, occupation forces demolished residential buildings east of Khan Younis and conducted artillery shelling on the eastern outskirts of the Shuja'iyya neighborhood and the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
Furthermore, Israeli military vehicles repeatedly opened fire east of the Zaitoun neighborhood, though no casualties were reported in that specific area at the time of publication.
Casualty Toll
Since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, 615 Palestinians have been martyred and 1,658 others injured.
This brings the total toll of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip to 72,073 martyrs and 171,756 injured since the beginning of the conflict on October 7, 2023.
