Notably, Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza stated on Sunday that 15 children have died due to malnutrition and dehydration, with another six children in critical condition, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.

Humanitarian workers at the UN also warned during a session of the UN Security Council on Tuesday that more than half a million people in Gaza are ‘one step away from famine.’ Furthermore, UNICEF reported that one in six children under the age of two in the strip suffers from severe malnutrition.

In the same context, Yazan Al-Kafarneh, the young boy who was saved from the rubble just died from malnutrition. Hospitals attempted to save his life, however due to the lack of oxygen support and food in Gaza, alongside Kafarneh’s critical condition, he was unable to be saved.
