Key Diplomatic Actions:
Expulsion of Ambassador: Lebanon has officially withdrawn its approval for the credentials of the appointed Iranian Ambassador, Mohammad Reza Sheibani.

Persona Non Grata: Sheibani has been declared "Persona Non Grata" and is required to leave Lebanese territory no later than Sunday, March 29.

Recall for Consultation: In a reciprocal move, the Ministry announced the recall of the Lebanese Ambassador to Tehran, Ahmad Sweidan, for consultations.

Reasoning Behind the Escalation
The Ministry justified these measures as a response to what it described as Iran’s "violation of diplomatic norms" and the established protocols governing relations between the two nations.

This move marks a significant diplomatic rift between Lebanon and Iran, occurring amidst the broader regional conflict and the ongoing war involving Tehran.
