According to a statement by the Jerusalem Governorate, Israeli municipal crews compelled the Qaraeen family to demolish their home in the Al-Farouq neighborhood of Jabal al-Mukabber, in southern Jerusalem.

In a separate incident, the Halawani family was forced to demolish their residential building in Beit Hanina, north of the city, resulting in the destruction of six housing units. The demolition has left approximately 30 people, including children, displaced and homeless.
