Before noon today, the Israeli army carried out a limited breach of the ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and Israel, targeting a health authority center in the town of Kounine with artillery shelling, injuring four paramedics.
Artillery shelling was also reported in the city of Khiam in southern Lebanon.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese Army announced in a statement that a specialized unit is working to reopen the Qasmiyeh maritime bridge in the city of Tyre, in cooperation with municipalities and civil associations, after it was targeted in an Israeli attack. A military unit has been deployed in the vicinity of the bridge.
A Lebanese security source told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) correspondent in Beirut that hundreds of residents from southern Lebanon headed from Beirut to their villages despite warnings that security risks persist.
He added that the bodies of 11 victims were recovered from beneath the rubble of a residential complex in the city of Tyre that was struck by Israeli air raids yesterday, in addition to 35 injured. Civil defense teams are still searching for missing persons under the debris.
