In a post on the platform X, the Israeli military stated: "The IDF recently commenced a wide-scale wave of airstrikes targeting infrastructure belonging to the Iranian regime in Western Iran."

Israel and the United States have been launching airstrikes on Iran since Saturday, February 28, which resulted in the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Since then, Tehran has responded by striking Israel and other regional countries with missiles and drones.
