Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf emphasized that the diplomatic path must be capable of establishing and reinforcing achievements on the ground, stressing that diplomacy and the field complement each other, and that there is no peace between Iran and the United States, nor will Iran recognize Israel.

Speaking in press statements on Sunday, the Iranian Parliament Speaker noted that implementing the memorandum of understanding with the United States is difficult but possible, adding, "We have emphasized to Washington that any understanding must include preserving the territorial integrity of the region's countries and ending the war with our allies."
Days ago, Iran's UN envoy, Amir Saeid Iravani, rejected the allegations and lies of the U.S. representative, asserting that Iran is the primary victim of Israeli-American aggression, and pointing out that more than 4,800 Iranian civilians, including women and children, have been killed during the war.
During the UN Security Council session held last Thursday, Iran's envoy renewed Tehran's categorical rejection of claims regarding the Strait of Hormuz and strongly condemned the recent U.S. strike on June 27th, stressing that it represents a blatant violation of the signed memorandum of understanding.
The Iranian envoy urged the Security Council to call on Washington to comply with international law, while welcoming the role of mediators and countries that participated in reaching the memorandum of understanding.
