Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, confirmed during a meeting with US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner the continuity of Qatar's mediation efforts. He emphasized Qatar's support for all negotiation tracks stemming from the memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the United States and Iran, aiming to reach a comprehensive and sustainable solution that enhances regional security, protects the interests of its peoples, and supports international peace and security.

The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a brief that the meeting reviewed the latest developments in the ongoing talks between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran within the framework of the MoU between both parties, alongside efforts aimed at promoting security and stability in the region through dialogue and diplomacy.
The meeting also addressed the latest regional developments, particularly the ceasefire in the Lebanese Republic, underscoring the importance of stabilizing and building upon it to preserve Lebanon's unity, sovereignty, and stability.
For their part, the US envoys expressed the United States' appreciation for the role played by Qatar and Pakistan in facilitating the path of talks, reaffirming the United States' commitment to continuing the negotiation process and supporting diplomatic efforts aimed at reaching a comprehensive agreement.
