Yousef Pezeshkian, a government advisor, stated in a post on his Telegram channel: "I heard the news reporting that Mr. Mojtaba Khamenei was injured. I reached out to friends with extensive networks, and they confirmed that, thank God, he is fine."

Following the announcement of Mojtaba Khamenei’s election to succeed his father, Ali Khamenei—who was killed on the first day of the war, February 28—state television broadcast a report on his life's milestones, referring to him as a "wounded veteran of the Ramadan War."

The United States and Israel have been conducting airstrikes on Iran since Saturday, February 28. Since the death of the former Supreme Leader, Tehran has retaliated by targeting Israel and other regional countries with missiles and drones.
