International telephone communications with Iran resumed on Tuesday after having been cut off since Friday.
Meanwhile, the internet shutdown imposed by Iranian authorities on January 8 in response to ongoing protests has continued for more than four and a half days, according to the non-governmental organization NetBlocks, which monitors internet connectivity.

NetBlocks stated that “108 hours have passed since Iran began enforcing a nationwide internet blackout, isolating Iranians from the rest of the world and from one another.”
