Gaza Municipality: 93% of Displaced Persons’ Tents Dilapidated as Humanitarian Conditions Worsen

Gaza Municipality spokesperson Husni Mahna said on Friday that 93% of the tents sheltering displaced persons have become completely worn out and dilapidated, noting that humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip are extremely difficult.اضافة اعلان

Mahna added in a press statement that the municipality requires a fleet of heavy and specialized machinery to deal with 25 million tons of rubble accumulated in Gaza City.

He explained that following the war, the municipality was left with only one bulldozer, while over 134 municipal vehicles and machinery were destroyed by the occupation. These machines had previously been used to provide essential services across the Strip.
