GCC Rejects U.S. Ambassador's Remarks on Arab Territories
Jasem Al-Budaiwi, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), has expressed his rejection and condemnation of the "irresponsible and unacceptable" remarks made by Mike Huckabee, the U.S. Ambassador to the Israeli occupation government. The Ambassador’s statements, which suggested acceptance of occupation control over Arab lands, including the occupied West Bank, were described by the Secretary-General as irresponsible.اضافة اعلان

The Secretary-General emphasized that such statements constitute a clear and explicit violation of international charters, treaties, and UN resolutions that uphold the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states.

Furthermore, Al-Budaiwi noted that these unprecedented remarks contradict the official stance of the United States and the vision put forward by President Donald Trump—in coordination with regional and international partners—which seeks to achieve peace and a lasting solution to the Palestinian cause to enhance security and stability in the region and the world.

He reaffirmed the GCC's steadfast position and commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, based on international legitimacy resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
