AMMAN — Israeli media outlets reported that several settlers were killed and injured in a shooting incident at a gas station at the entrance to the "Eli" settlement between Nablus and Ramallah.
The sources added that the Israeli authorities have asked the settlers in the "Eli" settlement to stay inside their homes out of fear of armed individuals.
Sources also reported that one Palestinian was killed during that operation.
According to the Magen David Adom ambulance service, eight Israelis were treated at the scene of the attack at a gas station, while four Israelis were declared dead at the scene, and four others are being taken to hospitals in Israel.
The shooting comes only a day after Israeli occupation forces shot and killed six Palestinians, including one minor, during a military raid in the northern occupied West Bank city of Jenin.
The raid left more than 90 other people injured.
