European Union Condemns Repeated Israeli Violations of Gaza Ceasefire

Israeli warplanes recently resumed airstrikes on displaced persons’ tents in the Khan Younis outskirts, southern Gaza Strip.

This statement was posted on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) by the EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness, and Crisis Management, Haja Habib, on Sunday evening.

Habib said: “We condemn the repeated violations of the Gaza ceasefire, which have resulted in hundreds of Palestinians being killed or injured due to Israeli attacks over the weekend.”

The EU commissioner emphasized the necessity of respecting international humanitarian law and protecting civilians everywhere, at all times.
