The Saudi Civil Defense announced that the danger had passed in Abha, southwestern Saudi Arabia, following an earlier warning urging residents to exercise caution.

Earlier on Sunday, the Saudi Civil Defense reported that an enemy projectile had fallen in the city of Najran, injuring six Saudi citizens.
The official Civil Defense spokesperson said in a statement posted on X that the projectile also caused material damage to three homes and three vehicles.
The spokesperson said: “On Sunday, 7/05/1448 AH, corresponding to October 18, 2026, the Civil Defense in Najran responded to the fall of an enemy projectile launched by the terrorist Houthi militia at a residential area, resulting in injuries to six citizens and material damage to three homes and three vehicles.”
The Civil Defense spokesperson stressed that attempts to target civilian property constitute a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law, confirming that the approved procedures had been taken in such cases.
Earlier on Sunday, the Saudi Civil Defense had issued warnings about a potential threat in Najran.
