The Israeli occupation army announced that one of its soldiers sustained moderate injuries during a close-range clash with Hezbollah operatives in southern Lebanon overnight Friday-Saturday, despite the declared ceasefire between the two sides.

In a statement, the occupation military said an Israeli soldier was moderately injured during a military operation in southern Lebanon overnight, clarifying that the soldier was "wounded in a close-range engagement in the area."
Meanwhile, Lebanese President Joseph Aoun asserted that controlled demolitions conducted by Israel in occupied areas of southern Lebanon—most recently overnight Thursday near the historic Beaufort Castle—constitute a "direct threat" to the framework agreement between the two countries.
Aoun condemned "the ongoing Israeli violations and attacks in southern Lebanon, particularly demolitions targeting infrastructure and archaeological landmarks inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage list, along with the severe damage and dangerous repercussions affecting most southern Lebanese villages and threatening the safety and security of the Lebanese people."
