Israeli occupation authorities have imposed a comprehensive closure on the occupied West Bank and shut border crossings from Sunday until next Saturday, citing the Jewish holiday of Sukkot.

According to the Palestinian News and Information Agency (WAFA), the occupation authorities use Jewish holidays to further restrict Palestinians, amid widespread violations by Israeli forces, including imposing blockades, tightening military measures at checkpoints, obstructing access to holy sites, and continued settler violence.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces tightened military measures around Ramallah and Al-Bireh on Sunday morning, closing several roads and entrances.
Palestinian sources reported that Israeli forces closed the iron gate at the entrance to Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah, in both directions, and mistreated Palestinians. They also closed the entrances to Aboud, Nabi Saleh and Atara to the north, and **Al-Taybeh** to the east.
Israeli forces also set up a military checkpoint at the entrances to Yabrud and Ein Sinya, where they searched vehicles and checked passengers’ identification documents.
Another checkpoint was established at the entrance to Jaba, disrupting vehicle movement in the area.
