The Jordan Meteorological Department forecasts scattered showers in parts of the northern and central regions, at times extending to parts of the eastern and southwestern areas. Thunderstorms may also occur in some northern and eastern regions. Winds will be northwesterly, active, with strong gusts at times, raising dust especially in desert areas.
According to the Department’s report, temperatures will rise slightly tomorrow, Friday, with autumn-like moderate weather prevailing in most areas, and relatively hot conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Clouds will appear at various altitudes, and northwesterly winds will be moderate, becoming occasionally active and dusty in desert regions.
On Saturday, temperatures will rise slightly again, with autumn-like mild conditions in most regions, and hot weather in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will be moderate westerlies.
Temperatures will continue to rise on Sunday, becoming slightly above their seasonal averages. The weather will be mild over the highlands and plains, and hot in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will be southeasterly moderate, shifting to westerlies in the evening.
Today’s expected highs and lows are: 26–16°C in East Amman, 24–14°C in West Amman, 22–14°C in the northern highlands, 21–12°C in the Sharah highlands, 30–15°C in the Badia, 26–15°C in the plains, 33–21°C in the northern Jordan Valley, 35–25°C in the southern Jordan Valley, and 34–24°C at the Dead Sea and Gulf of Aqaba.
