According to Ahmad Al-Tayyar, head of the Climate Department at the Meteorological Department, there is a chance of rainfall in northern regions and parts of central areas. He added that these conditions are expected to continue into Tuesday, with temperatures remaining below seasonal averages and continued chances of rain in the north and center of the country.

Al-Tayyar explained that Khamsin weather conditions are a typical climatic feature in Jordan during the period between the spring equinox and the summer solstice, often bringing weather fluctuations such as strong winds and dust.

He also noted that some extreme weather phenomena—such as intense rainfall or hail, along with unusual weather patterns in parts of the region—may be linked to the effects of global climate change, emphasizing that Jordan is impacted by these changes as part of the global climate system.
