Temperatures are set to rise noticeably on Tuesday, reaching around their seasonal averages for this time of year. The weather will be mild and spring-like in the highlands and plains, and warm in other regions, with moderate southeasterly winds.
Temperatures are expected to range as follows:
• East Amman: 25°C / 15°C
• West Amman: 23°C / 13°C
• Northern Highlands: 21°C / 12°C
• Sharah Highlands: 22°C / 11°C
• Desert Areas: 30°C / 15°C
• Plains: 26°C / 16°C
• Northern Jordan Valley: 31°C / 19°C
• Southern Jordan Valley: 34°C / 22°C
• Dead Sea: 33°C / 21°C
• Gulf of Aqaba: 35°C / 22°C
According to the Meteorological Department, temperatures will rise further on Wednesday, bringing warm spring conditions in the highlands and plains, and relatively hot weather in other areas. Medium- and high-level clouds are expected to appear.
There is also a chance of light rain showers in the evening over parts of the southeastern regions. Winds will be moderate southeasterly, occasionally becoming active and causing dust, especially in desert areas.
Temperatures will continue to increase on Thursday and Friday, exceeding seasonal averages by about 5–7°C. The weather will remain warm and spring-like in the highlands and plains, and relatively hot to hot elsewhere. Clouds at medium and high altitudes will persist, with a possibility of light afternoon showers in parts of the eastern regions. Winds will remain moderate southeasterly, occasionally active and dust-raising, particularly in desert areas.
