Temperatures are set to rise slightly on Tuesday, exceeding their seasonal averages by a small margin. The weather will be sunny and mild across most regions, and warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will be moderate southeasterlies.
Temperatures in East Amman today will range between 21°C and 12°C, while in West Amman they will range between 19°C and 10°C. In the northern highlands, temperatures will be between 15°C and 7°C, and in the Sharah highlands between 17°C and 6°C. In desert areas, temperatures will range between 26°C and 11°C, and in the plains between 21°C and 12°C. In the northern Jordan Valley, temperatures will be between 26°C and 16°C, in the southern Jordan Valley between 30°C and 18°C, at the Dead Sea between 29°C and 17°C, and in the Gulf of Aqaba between 30°C and 17°C.
According to the Meteorological Department, temperatures will rise slightly again on Wednesday, with relatively warm conditions in most regions and warm weather in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Medium- and high-altitude clouds will appear, and southeasterly winds will become active, with strong gusts in some areas reaching up to 60 km/h, causing dust in many regions, especially in desert areas.
On Thursday, the Kingdom will be affected by a relatively cold and moist air mass associated with a low-pressure system, leading to a noticeable drop in temperatures. The weather will be relatively cold and partly to mostly cloudy in most regions, while remaining relatively warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Rain is expected at intervals in the northern and central regions, as well as parts of the eastern areas, accompanied by thunder and occasional hail. Showers may later extend for a limited time to parts of the southwestern regions. Winds will be active southwesterlies, with strong gusts at times, raising dust in desert areas.
Temperatures will continue to drop on Friday, with cold and partly to mostly cloudy conditions in most regions. Rain will fall intermittently in the northern and central parts of the Kingdom, possibly accompanied in the early morning by thunder and hail. There is also a chance of light showers in parts of the eastern and southwestern regions. Winds will be active westerlies, raising dust, especially in desert areas.
