Weather on Monday will be pleasant in most regions, while relatively hot conditions are expected in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will be moderate northwesterlies, occasionally becoming active, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.
The department forecast that Jordan will experience mild spring-like weather during the Eid al-Adha holiday across most regions during daytime hours, while conditions will be relatively hot to hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, creating favorable conditions for outings, trips, and outdoor activities.
According to atmospheric numerical model simulations, maximum temperatures in the capital, Amman, and the plains are expected to range between 23°C and 29°C, while high mountainous areas will see temperatures between 20°C and 24°C. In the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, temperatures are forecast to range between 33°C and 38°C.
The Meteorological Department indicated that nighttime weather will tend to be relatively cool across most parts of the Kingdom, especially over highlands and plains, with minimum temperatures ranging between 8°C and 15°C, while conditions will remain mild in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
It added that northwesterly winds will become active at intervals and may stir up dust, reducing horizontal visibility, particularly in desert areas and on external roads.
