Jordan will continue to experience mild summer weather through Saturday, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.
On Wednesday, conditions will be pleasantly warm across most regions, while the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba will see relatively hot to hot weather. Moderate northwesterly winds are expected, becoming active at times and raising dust in desert areas. During the night, temperatures will be mild in most regions and moderate in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with high-altitude clouds appearing.
Forecast temperatures are expected to range as follows:
* East Amman: 31°C / 18°C
* West Amman: 29°C / 16°C
* Northern Highlands: 25°C / 13°C
* Sharah Highlands: 27°C / 15°C
* Badia Regions: 35°C / 19°C
* Plains: 30°C / 18°C
* Northern Jordan Valley: 36°C / 21°C
* Southern Jordan Valley: 39°C / 25°C
* Dead Sea: 37°C / 23°C
* Aqaba: 40°C / 25°C
The department said similar conditions will prevail on Thursday, with mild summer weather across most areas, relatively hot conditions in the Badia, and hot weather in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Some medium- and high-altitude clouds are expected, accompanied by moderate northwesterly winds that may become active and stir up dust in desert regions. Nighttime weather will remain pleasant in most areas and relatively warm in southern Jordan Valley and Aqaba.
On Friday, the mild summer pattern will continue across most regions, while the Badia will remain relatively hot and the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba hot. Moderate northwesterly winds are expected, becoming active at times. Nighttime temperatures will be pleasant in most areas and relatively warm in southern Jordan Valley and Aqaba.
Saturday’s forecast indicates continued mild summer conditions in most regions, with relatively hot to hot weather in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Moderate northwesterly winds will remain active at times, particularly in desert areas.
