Heavy and unstable weather conditions are expected Tuesday, with slightly cool temperatures across most regions. Skies will be partly cloudy to overcast, accompanied by scattered showers over parts of the western regions of the Kingdom.
Rainfall is forecast to be heavy at times, potentially triggering flash floods in valleys and low-lying areas, including the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. Some areas may also experience thunderstorms and hail.
As the day progresses, rainfall will gradually spread to additional parts of the Kingdom intermittently. By evening and night, chances of precipitation will diminish, and conditions will begin to stabilize. Winds will shift to moderate northwesterly, occasionally becoming active and raising dust.
In its report, the Jordan Meteorological Department warned of reduced horizontal visibility in the morning due to fog over high mountain areas and parts of the plains. It also cautioned about the risk of flash floods in valleys and low-lying regions—especially in the western parts of the Kingdom, including the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea—along with reduced visibility due to dust in desert areas and slippery roads in rain-affected regions.
According to the report, Wednesday’s weather will stabilize and remain slightly cool, particularly in high-altitude areas, while conditions will be mild in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with some low clouds appearing. Winds will be light and easterly.
A slight rise in temperatures is expected Thursday, with pleasant weather across most regions and mild conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. High-altitude clouds are forecast, and moderate southeasterly winds may become active at times, stirring dust, especially in desert areas.
Another slight increase in temperatures is expected Friday, maintaining pleasant conditions in most regions and mild weather in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with high clouds and moderate southeasterly winds that may occasionally intensify.
