Today, Saturday, a noticeable drop in temperatures is expected, while dusty conditions will persist in many areas, especially in the south and east of the Kingdom.
The weather will be relatively cold and partly to mostly cloudy in most regions, while relatively warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
Showers are expected in the morning in northern areas and some limited parts of the central regions. Winds will be southwest to west, strong at times, with gusts possibly reaching 50–60 km/h.
The Meteorological Department warns of reduced horizontal visibility during the day due to dust in many areas, and occasionally near-zero visibility on external roads. It also cautions about the intensity of wind speeds and accompanying strong gusts, advising citizens with asthma and allergies to exercise caution.
Tomorrow, Sunday, temperatures are expected to rise noticeably, with sunny and mild weather in most areas and warm conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will be moderate from the southeast.
On Monday, temperatures will rise further, with sunny and mild conditions over the highlands and warm weather in the rest of the country. Southeast winds will be moderate to strong, stirring dust especially in desert areas.
A noticeable drop in temperatures is expected on Tuesday, returning relatively cold conditions to most areas and relatively warm weather in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Clouds of varying altitudes will appear, and winds will be moderate from the west, occasionally strong.
Today, maximum and minimum temperatures in East Amman will range between 16–8°C, in West Amman 14–6°C, in the northern highlands 13–5°C, in the Shara Highlands 14–6°C, in desert areas 19–4°C, in plains regions 17–7°C, in northern Jordan Valley 22–11°C, in southern Jordan Valley 26–13°C, in the Dead Sea 24–12°C, and in Aqaba Gulf 25–13°C.
