Jordan’s national sport climbing team concluded its participation in the 2026 Asian Games in Nagoya on Wednesday.
Jordanian climber Omar Abu Hamto competed in the qualifying rounds of the speed climbing event, finishing 19th after recording times of 8.90, 9.15, and 8.80 seconds.

Abu Hamto did not advance to the round of 16, bringing his campaign at the Games to an end.
Joud Farkouh had competed in the women’s speed climbing qualifiers on Tuesday but also failed to advance to the next round.
This marks Jordan’s first participation in sport climbing at the Asian Games, with Abu Hamto and Farkouh taking part to gain experience and compete at the continental level.
