Jordan’s junior national finswimming team concluded its participation in the Asian Championships, held in Hai’an, China, from September 15 to 21, winning three medals: two silver and one bronze.

Ghina Yassin won the silver medal in the 200-meter monofin event, while Adam Al-Daqamseh claimed silver in the 100-meter underwater IM event. Joy Abdelnour won the bronze medal in the same event.
Meanwhile, Jordan’s junior sailing team concluded its participation in the Arab Optimist Championship, held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with 13 countries taking part. The Jordanian team, consisting of Miral Abu Anza and Zein Al-Shweikini, was named the championship’s Best Girls’ Team.
The event marked an important milestone for Zein and Miral, as it was their first participation at this level. It gave them an opportunity to gain experience, experience Arab and international competition, and further develop their technical and competitive skills.
The participation is part of the Royal Jordanian Yachting Federation’s efforts to develop sailing and build a strong foundation for national teams by providing athletes with opportunities to compete abroad and participate in regional and international championships.
