National boxing team player Hussein Eshaish secured a medal today, Sunday, at the Asian Games – Nagoya 2026, after qualifying for the semi-finals of the under-80 kg weight category.

Eshaish reached the semi-finals following his victory over Chinese boxer Wang in the quarter-finals. This marks his second consecutive win in the tournament, having kicked off his campaign by defeating Kyrgyzstan’s Omarbek.
The national boxing team will continue its participation tomorrow, Monday, as Zeyad Eshaish faces Tajikistan’s Saidov Shamshir in the quarterfinals of the under-70 kg weight category. Meanwhile, Huthaifa Eshaish will square off against Japan’s Yamaguchi in the quarter-finals of the under-55 kg category.
