National weightlifting team athlete Asem Al-Salaj concluded, today, Sunday, his participation in the under-110kg competition, at the Asian Games – Nagoya 2026.

Al-Salaj recorded 161kg in the snatch competition, but was unable to complete the clean and jerk, ending his participation without registering a final total.
Al-Salaj competed in Group B, which included five weightlifters from Jordan, Palestine, South Korea, Japan, and Tajikistan.
The under-110kg competition continues on Tuesday, with Group A's competitions, which will determine the final standings for this weight category.
