Samsung Unveils a Triple-Folding Smartphone
Samsung is preparing to surprise smartphone enthusiasts with the launch of the world’s first triple-folding device, named Galaxy Z TriFold, which will be unveiled during the APEC CEO Summit in Gyeongju, South Korea, from October 28 to 31, 2025. The new device marks a major milestone in the foldable phone industry and reinforces Samsung’s leadership in global innovation.اضافة اعلان

The phone continues Samsung’s successful streak in 2025, following the launch of the Galaxy S25 Edge and its first XR (Extended Reality) headset earlier this month.

Limited Release in Asian Markets

According to well-known tech leaker Evan Blass, the triple-folding smartphone may be limited to select markets, including South Korea, China, Singapore, Taiwan, and the United Arab Emirates. Reports also suggest that Samsung may delay launching the device in the United States and other Western markets during the initial rollout phase.

High Price and Limited Quantity

Leaks published by Android Headlines indicate that the Galaxy Z TriFold will be a first-generation model, with only 50,000 units produced due to its high price tag, which is expected to exceed that of any current Samsung smartphone.

Recent estimates suggest that the phone could cost around 4 million Korean won (approximately $2,780 USD) — about $1,000 more than the Galaxy Z Fold 7.

Impressive Features

The triple-folding Galaxy is expected to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, rather than the newer Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.

According to SamMobile, the device will feature up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, along with a 200MP main rear camera, similar to that of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, accompanied by ultrawide and telephoto lenses.

The phone will also support wireless charging and will include a 6.5-inch external display, which unfolds into a 10-inch flexible screen, effectively transforming the device into a full-sized tablet within seconds.

Users can also use the phone partially unfolded, providing an 8-inch display experience similar to that of the Z Fold 7.

Second of Its Kind

The Galaxy Z TriFold will be the second triple-folding phone to hit the market, following Huawei’s Mate XT Ultimate, launched in 2024, and the subsequent Mate XTs Ultimate, released last month.

Samsung’s model, however, is expected to feature an inward-folding design for greater durability and superior functionality compared to Huawei’s device.

Reports also suggest that Apple plans to release its first foldable iPhone in 2026.
