Meta has announced the addition of a host of new features to the Live Chats feature in the Threads platform, while expanding its reach to a wider number of users. اضافة اعلان

The new updates include support for simultaneous translation of conversations, the addition of new tools for chat hosts, and other enhancements aimed at enhancing interaction within the platform.

The translation feature allows users from all over the world to follow and participate in conversations in their own languages, making chats easier and more comprehensive.

Meta has also expanded the ability to create Live Chats to include all users who are classified as Community Champions, people who have a large following base within their communities, who post content on a regular basis, and contribute to keeping discussions active.

Chat hosts can now invite up to three co-hosts, making it easier to manage conversations, whether by hosting guests or distributing moderation tasks.

The platform has also added the ability to delete messages for all participants, while currently testing a new way to visually highlight the host's messages within the conversation so they can be easily recognizable.

When Threads launched, the platform struggled to compete with X as a place for instant chats, due to its lack of core features such as advanced search, hashtags, and post chronology.

However, it has added these features later, and is now looking to further its differentiation with Live Chats, a feature of live interaction that is not yet available on the X platform.

Meta says the goal of Live Chats is to make Threads more relevant to current events and more relevant to real-time discussions.

Since the feature's launch, users have hosted hundreds of chats on an almost daily basis, and thousands of participants have joined them, noting that the new improvements came in response to requests from content creators.

Live Chats allow you to send messages, photos, videos, links, and interact with emojis.

Up to 150 participants can send messages directly within the chat, while additional users can follow the conversation in Spectator Mode, where they can interact with messages and participate in polls without sending new messages.

Meta also revealed that support for Live Chats on computers will arrive soon, and is also developing the Pinned Messages feature, which is one of the most demanded features by content creators.

Earlier in June, Threads announced that it had reached 500 million monthly active users, nearly three years after launching as a competitor to Platform X.

Over the past year, the platform has added a range of new features, including private messages (DMs), ghost posts, and desktop messaging, which has accelerated its growth and increased its user base.
