A dialogue session entitled “The Role of Youth in Changing the Image of the Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts and Their Participation in Creating Cultural Impact” was held at the Jerash Cultural Center. اضافة اعلان

It was organized by the Jerash Association for Fine Arts, as part of the activities of the 40th session of the Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts, in the presence of the Executive Director of the Festival, Advisor Yazan Al-Khudair, the Head of the Greater Jerash Municipality Committee, Muhammad Bani Yassin, the Director of the Jerash Culture Directorate, Dr. Aqla Al-Qadri, and a number of young people and those interested in cultural affairs.

Al-Khudair stressed that the festival management pays great attention to youth participation, and is keen to listen to their opinions and suggestions and involve them in the festival’s activities, noting that youth represent an essential part of the Jerash Festival’s journey.

For his part, the head of the Greater Jerash Municipality Committee, Muhammad Bani Yassin, welcomed Advisor Yazan Al-Khudair, stressing the municipality’s continued implementation of development projects in the city of Jerash, including the project to link the ancient city with the modern city, address visual distortion, rehabilitate a number of archaeological sites, in addition to employing artificial intelligence technologies in providing historical and archaeological information to visitors.

For his part, the Director of the Jerash Culture Directorate, Dr. Aqla Al-Qadri, stressed that involving young people in the cultural movement is a priority, and that the Jerash Festival constitutes an important platform for discovering their talents and highlighting their creativity, which enhances their presence in the cultural scene.

At the end of the session, a dialogue took place between the participants and the youth, which addressed a number of ideas and proposals related to the festival, and ways to develop its programs and improve the visitor experience
