Shibli wins silver at Para Powerlifting Regional Championships

AMMAN — National Paralympic weightlifter Jamil Al-Shibli, on Saturday, won a silver medal for the over 107kg weight class at the Para Powerlifting Regional Championships (Asia and Oceania) held in the South Korean city of Pyeongtaek. اضافة اعلان

Shibli won the medal after successfully lifting 240kg, coming in second place behind Iranian Ahmad Aminzadeh, who won the gold medal after lifting 256kg. The Iranian player Mehdi Sayadi came in third place with the bronze medal after lifting 237kg.

The championship saw the participation of 231 male and female players from 33 countries.
