The match, played at Anfield, saw Liverpool demolish Tottenham, with the guests initially taking the lead through Dominic Solanke in the 12th minute. However, Liverpool responded quickly with Colombian Luis Díaz equalizing just four minutes later.
Argentine star Alexis Mac Allister put Liverpool ahead in the 24th minute, and Dutchman Cody Gakpo extended the lead to 3-1 in the 34th minute, ensuring a comfortable first-half advantage for manager Arne Slot’s side. In the second half, Mohamed Salah added a fourth, while Italian Destiny Udogie scored an own goal, rounding off the 5-1 scoreline.
With this win, Liverpool reached 82 points, needing just a draw to officially secure the title with four matches remaining. They now lead the table by 15 points ahead of second-place Arsenal.
