Following a career that began in 2009, Khshan has developed a distinctive style combining contemporary design with cultural and historical influences inspired by One Thousand and One Nights, Mesopotamian civilization and ancient Greek mythology. Her years of work have culminated in her selection to participate in Milano Jewelry Week, a major international event showcasing creativity and innovation in jewelry design, taking place from October 21 to 26 this month.

Khshan’s participation represents Jordanian and Arab presence at this prominent international event, which is attracting broad interest and competition this year. It brings together 400 exhibitors, including leading designers and international brands from around the world, with participation from 60 countries.
In an interview with Al-Ghad, Khshan described her participation in Milano Jewelry Week as a pivotal milestone in her professional career and a global platform for dialogue where innovation meets fine art. Milan, she said, provides a space for leading creative talents and jewelry artisans from diverse cultures to come together.

Khshan said she hopes the event will help establish her artistic signature and take her designs onto the international stage. For Jordanian and Arab designers, her participation carries a broader message: Arab designers possess a rich visual identity and a creative vision capable of competing on major international platforms.

She explained that the central message behind the pieces she will present is that jewelry is more than an adornment; it is a form of expressive sculpture that captures identity, memory and human emotion.

Khshan emphasized that she sought to create artistic pieces combining expressive strength with fluid forms, with each design telling a deeper story inspired by nature and heritage through a contemporary, border-crossing visual language. She added that their aesthetic value lies in meticulous attention to detail and bold design choices that give women a distinctive presence.

The collection combines precious metals with carefully selected gemstones. Khshan has worked with gold and silver using handcrafting techniques and surface treatments that give the pieces a sense of movement.

Her choice of materials reflects an artistic vision built around balancing the strength of metal with the warmth of reflected light, transforming solid materials into vivid works of art inspired by the beauty of nature and the authenticity of the East.

Khshan said the collection stands out for its contemporary sculptural style rooted in heritage. Rather than treating tradition as a rigid framework, she draws on its spirit and reinterprets it through bold geometric lines and innovative modern forms.

Her philosophy, she explained, is that authenticity provides a piece with depth, while modernity opens the way to international recognition. This approach is reflected in her reinterpretation of Eastern symbols through a contemporary aesthetic that brings together the past and the future.

Khshan will participate in the Artistar Jewels event as part of Milano Jewelry Week. The exhibition will be held at Palazzo Bovara in Milan, Italy’s fashion capital, in a setting described as closer to an art museum than a conventional commercial exhibition.

More than 800 unique artistic pieces will be displayed during the event, showcasing contemporary art and the latest global trends in jewelry design.
Khshan will present selected designs from an exclusive collection that reflects her approach to combining heritage with modernity. Her pieces are distinguished by their intricate details and reinterpretation of traditional aesthetics through innovative contemporary touches.
