Two Italian tourists have highlighted their travel experience in Jordan, describing their visit to the ancient city of Petra as an unforgettable and exceptional experience that allowed them to explore the archaeological site with peace and comfort.

In a report published by the Italian newspaper l’Adige, Enrico Porta and his wife, Paola Barsottelli, detailed their journey. They noted that their decision to visit Jordan stemmed from their conviction that it is a safe country, situated away from the regional focal points of tension.
The couple emphasized that Petra is a globally unique site and was the primary motivation for choosing Jordan as their destination, given its profound historical, cultural, and humanitarian value. They stressed that the "Rose Red City" is a destination that warrants a visit in its own right.
Furthermore, the tourists noted that a sense of security was present throughout their trip—both at tourist sites and while traveling between cities—which enhanced their feeling of comfort and tranquility.
The couple also shared that they visited several other destinations, including Wadi Rum, Jerash, and Amman, noting that Jordan possesses a rich tourism diversity worth discovering. They expressed overall admiration for their Jordanian experience.
