AMMAN — More than 500 Irbid merchants received their first shot of the
COVID-19 vaccine on Saturday.

Head of Irbid’s Chamber of Commerce, Mohammad Al-Shohah, said the chamber allocated employees to register the names of the merchants and workers to facilitate immunization efforts.
Shohah explained that the vaccination of merchants who were not registered on the
Ministry of Health’s vaccination platform was done in cooperation with the
National Center for Security and Crises Management to reach a safe summer and allow for the opening of more sectors.
