The head of the book fair’s media committee, Ghassan Hussein, said the fee was reduced from $150 per square meter. He said the decision was taken by the administrative body of the publishers union to support their counterpart Arab publishers and in recognition of the hard economic times all publishers are going through due to the pandemic.

Hussein said this move aims to support the publishing sector in the Arab world of which Jordan is an active and effective part. In turn, the Arab Publishers Union expressed deep appreciation for the move by the Jordanian Publishers Union and thanked their continued cooperation and support.
