Ayla, Princess Basma Center partner for heritage program

AMMAN — The Ayla Oasis Development Company recently partnered with the Princess Basma Center for Human Development in Aqaba (Hashemite Fund for Development — JOHD) to launch Herfati (My Craft) to revive Aqaba’s heritage through handicrafts and embroidery.اضافة اعلان

Speaking about the campaign, Ayla's Managing Director Sahl Dudin, said: "Through this partnership, the incredible talents of Aqaba’s women will also be highlighted, with Ayla offering them support by helping them to promote and market their final products within Ayla’s Marina Village.”

The Princess Basma Center’s Director Fatima Al-Hinnawi said that the Herfati project will empower 15 women and girls in the sewing sector this year, working with them to produce pieces that express the city's heritage and contributing to improving their financial position.
