Aqaba international Islamic art forum kicks off

AMMAN — Aqaba’s International Islamic Art Forum’ fourth electronic exhibition kicks off today, under the title “The Role of Hashemites in Preserving Holy Sites”.اضافة اعلان
Organized by Aqaba’s culture directorate and Amwaj Association for Culture and Arts, the forum brings together 60 calligraphers and artists from 15 countries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The two-day exhibition includes a lecture on the Hashemite construction of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Hashemite custodianship over Jerusalem’s holy sites, as well as a screening of a documentary on “Armat” museum, showcasing the contribution of Jordanian calligraphers in shaping the urban scene in Jordan.
