According to The Guardian, this marks the sixteenth consecutive session of gains for the index—the longest winning streak since its inception in the 1980s.

The index has now fully recovered all losses sustained since April 2, the date when U.S. President Donald Trump announced new tariffs on several trade partners, sparking turbulence in global markets.
