Gold prices in the local market increased by 60 piasters per gram on Tuesday morning, compared to Monday's prices, driven by a rise in global gold prices.

The price of 21-carat gold, the most popular choice among citizens, for purchasing from jewelry stores, reached 58.60 dinars per gram, compared to 56.60 dinars for selling.
According to the bulletin issued by the Jordanian Jewelers Association, the price of gold per gram for 24, 18, and 14-carat gold for purchasing from jewelry stores was 67.40, 52.10, and 39.60 dinars, respectively.
Global gold prices rose this morning to $2,899 per ounce, influenced by the effects of the tariffs imposed by U.S. President Donald Trump on Canada, Mexico, and China.
