Amman Rotana Hotel launched its Winter
Clothing Campaign back in November, held in collaboration with the Clothing
Bank, which is run by the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO). Employees
collected 208 clothing items that were presented to the Clothing Bank, whom in
return will distribute them to the families in need.

General Manager of
Amman Rotana, Patrice Cornée expressed: “I’m
very pleased at the success of this campaign, and that colleagues’
participation emanated from Rotana Hotels’ strong and clear corporate social responsibility
strategy. We are also extremely proud of our
partnership with JHCO and the Clothing Bank, and we believe in its vision and
the role it plays in improving the lives of beneficiaries, helping them
overcome their difficult living conditions."
Cornée added: “
Amman Rotana is involved in continuous efforts to help
the largest possible number of underprivileged families through this campaign
and other initiatives the hotel continuously launches to help and encourage its
team members develop the concept of donation and volunteering.”
The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization
launched the Clothing Bank initiative in 2013, and provides relief and
assistance to those suffering affected by disasters in the region and
throughout the world since 1990.
