Qatar to increase investment in Jordan — ambassador

AMMAN — Qatar’s Ambassador to Jordan Saud bin Nasser Al-Thani said Monday that Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani gave directives to raise his country’s investments in Jordan, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

The ambassador told the Senate Jordanian-Qatari Brotherhood Committee that Qatar attaches special importance to Jordan, referring to a recent meeting between Minister of Investment Khairi Amr and Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Nasser Shraideh with Qatari investment leaders.

He said that the Qatari embassy endeavors by all means to enforce partnerships with Jordan in the area of joint committees and agreements, noting Jordan’s support to Qatar in organizing the World Cup.
