The value of credit facilities granted to individuals increased by 1.2% during the third quarter of last year, compared with the period from April through the end of June 2025, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Jordan.اضافة اعلان

Total individual loans in the third quarter of 2025 amounted to approximately JD 14.328 billion, marking an increase of JD 163 million compared with the same period in 2024, when they stood at JD 14.156 billion. Nearly 80% of these facilities were granted to males, with the remainder extended to females.

The number of borrowers reached 1.646 million borrowers/loans during the period from July to the end of September last year, with males accounting for about 78%, compared with 1.630 million borrowers/loans in the second quarter of 2024.

Meanwhile, the total credit facilities granted by banks operating in the local market to micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) during the third quarter of last year amounted to JD 3.388 billion, down by JD 10 million from the previous quarter of the same year, when they stood at JD 3.398 billion.

As for the share of total facilities granted to MSMEs out of total private-sector credit facilities during the period from July through September, it stood at 10.7%, compared with 10.8% in the second quarter of 2025.
