The selling price of 21-karat gold in the local market declined on Monday to JOD 97.6 per gram, compared to JOD 98.4 on Sunday, marking a decrease of JOD 0.8, according to the pricing issued by the General Syndicate for Owners of Jewelry and Goldsmith Shops. The buying price also dropped to JOD 93.3, down from JOD 94.2.

The decline extended to other gold categories. The selling price of 24-karat gold fell to JOD 111.7 per gram, compared to JOD 112.6 on Sunday, a decrease of JOD 0.9, while the buying price reached JOD 107.5, down from JOD 108.4.
Similarly, the price of 18-karat gold dropped to JOD 86.3 per gram, compared to JOD 87.1 on Sunday, a decrease of JOD 0.8, while the buying price stood at JOD 79.5, down from JOD 80.2.
As for 14-karat gold, its selling price declined to JOD 67.7 per gram, compared to JOD 68.1 on Sunday, a decrease of JOD 0.4, while the buying price reached JOD 59.3, down from JOD 59.8.
