Gold prices in the domestic market decreased on Wednesday compared to Tuesday's rates, according to the prices announced by the General Syndicate of Owners of Jewelry and Goldsmith Shops. According to the new pricing, the selling price for one gram of 21-karat gold—the most highly demanded by citizens—dropped to 90.7 dinars for retail sales from jewelry shops, compared to 91.6 dinars in Tuesday’s pricing, marking a decrease of 90 piasters per gram. The buying price (from citizens) also fell from 87.2 dinars to 86.4 dinars, a decline of 80 piasters.

The selling price for one gram of 24-karat gold fell to 104.2 dinars on Wednesday, compared to 105.2 dinars on Tuesday, marking a decrease of 1 dinar per gram.

Similarly, the selling price for one gram of 18-karat gold dropped to 80.4 dinars, down from 81.2 dinars in the previous pricing, registering a decline of 80 piasters per gram.
