Gold prices in the domestic market decreased on Wednesday compared to Tuesday's rates, according to the prices announced by the General Syndicate of Owners of Jewelry and Goldsmith Shops. A comparison between the two pricing sheets showed a decline across various karats ranging between 80 piasters and 1 dinar per gram.

According to the new pricing, the selling price for one gram of 21-karat gold—the most highly demanded by citizens—dropped to 90.7 dinars for retail sales from jewelry shops, compared to 91.6 dinars in Tuesday’s pricing, marking a decrease of 90 piasters per gram. The buying price (from citizens) also fell from 87.2 dinars to 86.4 dinars, a decline of 80 piasters.
The selling price for one gram of 24-karat gold fell to 104.2 dinars on Wednesday, compared to 105.2 dinars on Tuesday, marking a decrease of 1 dinar per gram.
Similarly, the selling price for one gram of 18-karat gold dropped to 80.4 dinars, down from 81.2 dinars in the previous pricing, registering a decline of 80 piasters per gram.
