Central Bank Floats Treasury Bonds Worth JOD 50 Million

According to CBJ data, the maturity date for the current issue is June 21, 2029, while the bank indicated that the settlement date falls on June 21, 2026.

Treasury bonds are long-term financing instruments with maturities ranging from two to twenty years, varying between government/treasury bonds and corporate bonds.

Meanwhile, treasury bills (T-bills) are short-term government debt instruments issued with maturities ranging from 3 to 12 months. They are characterized as low-risk financial instruments and are traded—bought and sold—in the financial markets.
